AA Military Research (AAMR) is a small company located in suburban Maryland, we specialize in researching photographs, plans and textual documents for US Navy subjects from the late 1890's through the end of World War II. Research is conducted primarily at the US National Archives in College Park, Maryland, US National Archives Washington, DC and the US Naval Historical Center at the Washington Navy Yard. We will also research the photographic record groups for the US Army, US Air Force and Coast Guard for this era. We do not research individual personnel or military service records.

     For the professional market we offer customized research services and stock images from our library. Our current image library contains over 40,000 images of publication quality in .tif format, most of them are black and white. These are mostly photos of US Navy ships of the pre-World War II and World War II era, approximately 4500 of the photos are of British and Commonwealth ships. Our library of photos never stops growing, however due the number of images it is not available online. We are working on an index you can access online to see what we do have in our library. Hobbyists, please note the full resolution photos are only available to the professional market.

 We are discontinuing our line of hobby products at this time, only the WWI Camouflage Design subscription will continue. All Plans, Photo CD and silk suture products are being cleared out at 20% off for individuals. Dealers interested in buying closeout stock please enquire via email.
